Many years ago, my friend John W4WKQ wanted a computer & TNC to collect ham radio 10-10 numbers.
Since I was running a packet cluster, he contacted me. John had a lot of trouble with this newfangled gadget. He would call me up and start every conversation with "This Damn Thing Don't Work"
